“The BBQin Cuban was created from years of hard work, sacrifices, and personal pains.
I started cooking BBQ 13 years ago, with hopes to be where I am today, running my own bbq food truck. I’m born and raised here in Miami, FL and I am of Cuban descent. Both my parents were born in Cuba and came over here when they were really young.
A lot of my bbq cooking is self-taught and from watching my dad cook for family cookouts. A lot of my inspiration comes from traditional Texas BBQ. My Cuban side of cooking comes from watching my grandfather and father cook whole pigs to listening to and tasting my grandma’s food.
I took the love of BBQ and my Cuban roots and created the BBQin Cuban.”
