When we opened our first Kokai restaurant in 1998, we set out to create an unforgettable dining experience for our customers. We started in the city of Valencia, Venezuela where every customers was treated like family. Four years later, following the success of the first restaurant, we opened the second Kokai restaurant in Maracay, Venezuela. We were “the first” Japanese restaurant in the city. We not only brought sushi to Maracay but also a place where people could get together and enjoy a delightful dining experience.
Then in late 2006, following strong expansion and growth projections at the national level, we conceived our third venue in one of the most important cities in Venezuela: Maracaibo.
With more than 20 years of proven experience, we decided to expand our horizons and Kokai’s reach starting with 3 locations in the USA; 2 in Florida and 1 in Katy, Texas to continue crafting innovated flavorful sushi dishes and unbeatable Kokai Experience.
