Where it all began – Restaurant Flor De Mayo opened its doors in 1992 in Puerto Rico, born from the unwavering determination of a family striving to build a better life together. We poured our hearts into this venture, combining our love for cooking with a commitment to create a warm, welcoming space where everyone could feel at home. In the early days, we passed out menus in the neighborhood and malls to spread the word about our first “baby”, Restaurant Flor De Mayo. But it wasn’t just the food that drew people in—we are dedicated to know our customers personally. For us, Flor De Mayo wasn’t just a business; it was an extension of the family, where guests were treated as relatives and welcomed with open arms.
