OSO Coffee Co. is located at 2603 Navigation in Houston’s East End, aka 2nd Ward. The shop’s founder, Hector Garcia, named the shop after his mom, Yolanda, who’s nickname is “Oso”. Oso means “bear” or “mama bear” in Spanish and as the oldest of 7 sisters, she served as their mama bear, helping raise and care for them as they grew up in Houston.

This coffee shop is built in her honor, with the goal of serving up delicious classic coffee drinks, along with some Mexican influence such as our homemade horchata latte and sweet cafecitos. Once our kitchen is complete, OSO’s food offerings will include several breakfast items influenced by mama OSO, available on the menu all day.

Soft opening hours are currently Friday – Sunday, 9am – 2pm. Limited seating available inside and at the bar, along with a variety of outside patio areas including the Navigation Esplanade across the street. And yes, we love dogs and have the best Puppiccinos.
